Sponsorship
Dear Potential Sponsor
Sport in Australia is a way of life. Most of us not only enjoy watching sport on
the television, but also enjoy being able to get out and have a go. One of the most
popular sports to play in Australia is soccer, with soccer having the most registered
junior players in the country. With such a strong junior program in this country,
more and more people are looking to play in senior soccer competitions, with the
focus on fitness, competition, and the enjoyment of the game.
The Queensland Baptist Soccer Association has had a long tradition in the Brisbane
area for over 20 years in providing not only a strong soccer competition over many
different skill levels, but also in outreaching to many groups within the community.
Over the last few years, our competition has been involved in providing drug and
alcohol rehabilitation programs & prison outreach matches amongst our normal
competition program, and aims to bring people together through a sport that we enjoy.
In the 2005 season, the QBSA will run seven divisions of competition, with
over 1000 players being involved throughout the season. All of our competing teams
are based from churches in the Brisbane region, creating a wide network of contacts
and opportunities within our league. Many companies have previously taken opportunities
to sponsor individual teams within the competition, providing great exposure within
that community.
Not only does soccer provide competitors with many benefits, it also provides business
with opportunities for sponsorship and promotion. Over the many years of this competition,
many business groups have been involved with the QBSA, and we are currently looking
for new companies who are interested in supporting our competition.
Competitions planned for the season are :
- QBSA Preseason Carnival - Round Robin Tournament
- QBSA Cup - April to September League Competition
- QBSA Over 30's League - April to September League Competition
- QBSA Women's League - April to September League Competition
We are currently looking for companies interested in naming rights for any or all
of our competitions for the 2005 season. Naming rights sponsors will have the relevant
competition in their name, and have all teams within the competition wearing the
companies name and logo. All advertising for the competition shall include the sponsors
name, with mail out lists available on request.
If your company is interested in sponsorship of an individual team in your area,
many of our member clubs are currently looking for sponsorship opportunities.
Should your company be interested in other forms of sponsorship, opportunities such
as our best and fairest player and team competitions may be of further interest.
We hope that you can see an opportunity for your company with sponsorship in the
QBSA soccer competitions. Should you have any queries in regards to costs, promotion
opportunities, or would like further information in regards to the QBSA, please
contact our association president,
Mr Russell Lee.
Thank you for this opportunity to present the QBSA. We look forward to the opportunity
of talking further with you to discuss these opportunities.
Best regards,
Queensland Baptist Soccer Association
